Math Literacy
Math skills to help your child be successful:
Number Sense
-knows more or less (ex: Who has more carrots at lunch? Who has less juice in their glass?)
-counting numbers in order
-counting objects one by one (ex: How many cheerios are on your plate?)
-notices patterns in the environment (ex: patterns on jewelry, clothing, or animals)
-comparing objects (ex: Location-in, on, under, over, above, below, etc. Size-big/small, short/tall, thick/thin etc.)
